Guessing after 30 seconds. Driver 7w 4H 5h 7 8 9 pw sw and putter. Maybe swap in a gap wedge for a 4H or 8… can’t wait to find out.
My bag currently consists of 44” 12 degree driver, a 16 degree Hy-wood, 7 wood, 11 wood, 7-pw, 56* wedge, putter and chipper. That puts me to 11 but I rely on that chipper too much to take it out. I have been considering swapping the Hy-wood for a 5 wood.
Less clubs keeps the club choice easier – keeps you focused on the shot not which club – pick it and hit it 👍

Would you ever consider 2 wedges a low bounce 56 for tight lies and full shots and a high bounce 56 for bunkers and rough?
I couldn’t agree more Andy. I had 30 years away from golf, came back in 2020 and thought I was hallucinating about the clubs people were swinging. It doesn’t matter what you use, I use 8 clubs from 13 to 54 degrees and it’s plenty. My wood at 13 degrees measures 42”, easy and low stress off the tee. I completely agree with you ❤
Your WITB makes incredible sense. I’m quite close but I carry a Sure Out wedge for bunkers. Hopefully one day I will be able to drop it.

I have a Sunday bag, 1w, 5w, 5h, 6i, 8, pw, sw, putter. Im 67 and play a 6000meter course. I shot 39 yesterday and 42 today. 8clubs is perfectly good and easy to carry .

In terms of maybe getting rid of those remaining irons Andy, I recently played with a mate who has the full set of Eleven hybrids right down to gap wedge, and I couldn't believe how well he managed to stop his shots into some quite firm greens with the short irons, PW and GW hybrids….. and they're only £90ea compared to most irons and wedges around the £150ea level.
certainly not a cheap option……thankfully you get you clubs for free…us normal blokes arent going to spend 1000s of pounds on PXG fairways and hybrids
I've adopted the 12 degree 44" driver and 5 wood approach. I very much enjoy hitting second shots from the fairway.
Recently I'd "lost" my swing. 5.6 index golfer here. After watching one of your videos, I went and played nine holes with: Driver, 5 hybrid, 8 iron, PW, 56, Ping Chpr, and putter. 7 clubs. Shot a -1 on a 2750 yard nine. Best round ever via index at a .9. This reducing clubs, playing only clubs you have confidence with, and reducing decision making is a real thing. Dare I say, you've stumbled upon genius and it's helped this golfer immensely. Great video, great message. Thank you.
