I was high on the bruins last year, I dont have that gut feeling this year. Krieder to montreal has them landing top 3. Buffalo is up there, where's that leave boston? I see 4th or 5th this season, likely 5th. Im just not feeling another year of proving everyone wrong. We did something special last year and don't see it happening again while letting the kids play.
Honestly happy we didnt sign him but this is looking like the year we get humbled, don't want to see it but its in our cards. Maybe 27-28 we get a great pick but I dont see us making the playoffs this year and potentially next year too. Really hoping we can turn young talent into NHL players moving forward while we still have pasta and cMac running their sides of the ice
Our studs are pasta, cMac, and swayman. Id love to see some of the youth come up, minten, hagens, big dean. All options but what do they become, does geekie and the 4th line keep us in contention? I want to see geekie minten pasta while its a question mark. I want minten to center the 2nd line with peterka and mittlestadt. The third should look like hagens, dean in center and khuzi. Fourth doesn't change. This is a 2-3 year plan.
Defence needs an overhaul. Lorhie might be decent but not a first pairing. Joki could be great if he sells himself on himself, zaddy needs to stay out of the box, brunet needs to show he's capable. Were close to a great team but sturm has to do what he was hired for and bring the youth to the ice
