Lmfao at all the comments getting angry about the round going for 6 hours while ignoring all the reasons that happened. The wind was sending balls off into super thick rough so there were a heap of times that the 3 minute clock was run out looking for balls. Some of these players had always been given the okay by the forecaddy, so had to go back to the tee/previous spot and hit again which ate up more time. You then also had the wind being so brutal the ball was literally rolling on the green while players were attempting to hit their putts. They can't hit the ball while it's moving, and the ball needs to be replaced back to where it came to rest, which requires a rules official most of the time so that some stupid penalty isn't given because of how pedantic the golf rules are. So for those crying about slow play what would you suggest the changes be? Allow golfers to hit while their ball is moving? Play all long grass as OB to save time looking for balls? Y'all love to bitch about pace of play, but will also bitch if rules aren't followed, so which is it?
