NEW PALTZ, N.Y. — Miles Eyler and Gus DiSciullo each fired 4-over-par 40s to pace New Paltz High’s boys golf team to a 167-194 Mid-Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) victory over visiting Spackenkill at New Paltz Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Theo Salamone (42) and Kelso Woodburn (45) posted the other scoring rounds for the Huguenots (1-1).
Spackenkill (0-2) was led by Oliver Hasbrouck’s 44.
Onteora 196, Pine Plains 213
At the Woodstock Golf Club, the host Eagles were led by Jacob D’Arcy (46). Other contributors were Jesper Peacock (49), Jake Slater (50) and Ben Barron (51).
Alfred Blackburn and Jackson St. Bernard each had 51s for visiting Pine Plains.
Wallkill 177, Red Hook 182
At the Red Hook Golf Club, visiting Wallkill registered a five-stroke win with Braeden Werner firing a 3-over-par 39 to take medalist honors.
Wallkill’s other contributing scores were recorded by Braeden Callahan (41), Brian Figurski (43) and Cam Dixon (54).
For Red Hook, counting scores were posted by Cam Misasi (43), Chase Kabat (45), Tyler Sperry (46) and Patrick Fenn (48).
Rhinebeck 168, Webutuck 252
At Red Hook Golf Club, Nico Dentico was medalist with a 1-over 37 to lead host Rhinebeck. Oscar Clark (41), Drew Culyer (44) and James Jacox (46) of Rhinebeck also contributed to the win.
Pearse Williams and Hayden Whitely each had 62s for Webutuck.
