Inside the Cowboys Golf Club, the World’s Only NFL-Themed Course
The Dallas Cowboys have the only NFL-themed golf course on the planet, and after a $12 million transformation, it’s a genuinely serious test of golf. We went to Grapevine to play it, and got a blocking lesson from a Cowboys Super Bowl champ along the way.
Built by Jerry Jones in 2001 and acquired by Arcis Golf in 2015, Cowboys Golf Club has been rebuilt from the ground up — new greens, rebuilt bunkers, reshaped fairways and squared-off tees — plus a driving range surfaced with turf pulled from AT&T Stadium and a live goalpost you can take aim at with a driver.
The new centerpiece is The Huddle, an all-day entertainment zone behind the clubhouse with an end zone, a tailgate area, cornhole, soccer goals and more. One fee covers food and drink all day. It’s a golf course for golfers, a pilgrimage for Cowboys fans, and a full-day hangout for everybody else.
