PRACTICE WITH PURPOSE.
The Iron Gapping Drill is designed to help you understand how far you actually carry each club and identify any gaps in your set.
Rather than relying on the number you think each club goes, use reliable carry-distance data to build a clear picture of your real distances.
Work through your clubs, hit a representative group of shots with each and record your carry distances. Discard genuinely poor shots or major outliers so the numbers reflect the shots you would normally expect to produce on the course.
The objective is to understand your carry distances, identify any problem gaps or overlaps and make better club-selection decisions on the course.
