South Africa is quietly dominating the 2026 DP World Tour season. With Thriston Lawrence’s victory at the Omega European Masters, South African golfers have officially locked in 8 victories across 6 different players—more than any other nation this year.
From young prodigies like Yurav Premlall matching Tiger Woods-level records to emotional veteran comebacks from Richard Sterne and Michael Hollick, we break down how South Africa took over international golf.
In this video, I cover:
Thriston Lawrence’s epic win at Crans-Montana (Omega European Masters)
Back-to-back victories from Jayden Schaper and Casey Jarvis
Yurav Premlall’s historic 14-shot blowout at the Catalunya Championship
South Africa’s multi-generational pipeline taking over the DP World Tour

Massive congrats to Thriston Lawrence on sealing SA's 8th DPWT victory of the season! The fact that this run includes 22-year-old Yurav Premlall winning by 14 shots AND veterans like Richard Sterne snapping 13-year droughts shows just how deep this roster is.
