WASHINGTON (TNND) — Kai Trump, the granddaughter of President Donald Trump released another YouTube vlog this week where she admitted to struggling as she is about to start college at the University of Miami.
During her vlog which was released Sunday, Kai filmed herself crying behind the wheel of her car as she prepared to say goodbye to family and friends.
“I’m not a very emotional person at all, so this is like really weird for me to cry,” Kai said during the video.
She said she had only cried a few times in her life, and did not show herself saying goodbye to her loved ones.
“It was just, like, sad. I just wanted to say goodbye,” she said. “It was, like, hard to film because I wanted to be, like, present with my family, so I just didn’t film it.”
Her mom Vanessa, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. helped her move into her dorm, according to Page Six.
Kai is most well known for being Trump’s granddaughter, being a golfer and speaking at the Republican National Convention in 2024.
During an interview with popular YouTuber Logan Paul, she said that dating is hard due to 24/7 Secret Service.
“For the first few months it was tough,” she said. “It was not easy kind of having someone follow you all the time – once I was like, ‘well their only job is to protect me. I’m gonna focus on my stuff and have them do their job,’ it made it so much easier.”
