  5. I bought the original Takomo 101's as I liked the look better than the newest model. I replaced my Mizuno JPX 900 forged with them as I'm now 60 and have MS. I've been quite pleased with them! Definitely worth the savings and they look as nice as the P790's at a fraction of the cost.

  11. I tried Takomo 101Ts. Found them very inconsistent with yardage. 2 similar feeling shots with good contact had 110-15 yards difference. They felt good but I just could not trust yardages. Played them for 6 months.Not for me. I’d love their wedges though. Probably their other models are better. The 101T is their hollow face and that design, generally, have the odd overly “hot” shot. Just found that happened more than they did with my old Cobra King Tec that used the same technology. Hope they work it out as they are great value and look good.

    I realize that this video is from "inventory". Interesting that you mentioned Takomo formerly sponsored Good Good prior to Callaway. Now, Callaway has separated themselves from Good Good; trying to avoid any shrapnel.

  18. I was torn what to do with takomo – online fitting recommended 201t M2’s. I was waving to to the 201 M2’s but then saw rust etc on the M2’s on Reddit. So hot cold feet. Ended up buying the original takomo 201 (og) . Played first time today with them on course and enjoyed them – hard to judge as very windy. Playing them in my sim and really enjoying them

  22. Not sure about Takomo clubs, I have only seen YouTubers talking about them, I have never seen anyone using them. I was fitted for Mizuno 925 forged irons for £1100, took note of the specs and found a second hand set for £400. I think that I will stick with the known clubs that see people using for a bit before I look at these type of clubs. I sure they’re great but you wouldn’t know until you have bought them.

    I’d like you to try the Maltby irons but they don’t sponsor anyone but get rave reviews here on my side of the pond.

  26. true to be told, if you hit any club in the middle you'll hardly feel any difference (hence your review is not valid, you are a good striker), what differentiate big brands from these low quality ones is off-strike and custom ability, like adjust loft or lie or add additional tape in the grip. Hence you'll get what you pay for.

    But I fully understand point of this video, to promote your sponsorship, I do the same in my channel 😀 but I've chosen only real value brands.

  27. To be honest, I don’t know why everybody in the world doesn’t just use takomos. They look awesome. Everybody shoots them just like the more expensive brands. I know the expensive brands are more about money and sponsorships and so forth, but even if you have enough money, why not hit the clubs that are just as good look good and have a company that backs what they say. And James, you hit the Tacoma’s like you were born to use them.

  28. Recently you said views on your channel had dropped. This might be because your (and Chris's) videos now seem to mainly be adverts for Takomo and Eleven.
