Where does the power in the golf swing really come from? In this video, I break down why angular momentum—not more hip turn or more coil—is the key to creating power, and show you how to utilize more of it with a simple setup change that requires zero practice. By pulling your trail foot back and closing your stance, you can increase your range of motion, make a fuller backswing, and create more potential power immediately.
You’ll also learn why moving your arms faster than your body in the downswing is critical for transferring that power into the golf ball. I’ll show you simple drills to train this feeling, including an exaggerated closed-stance drill and single-arm exercises, helping you increase club head speed, improve sequencing, maintain shaft lean, and ultimately hit the ball farther.
