Presidents Cup is Ohio State against New Mexico State. No one cares.
I feel like people have a really inaccurate belief as to what type of golfer Bridgeman is. He's gained on approach in his last 10 events and was just as good on approach in 2026 as Gerard was. They're the same guy at just about the same age with the same likelihood of making it onto the Ryder Cup team next year. They just took the guy who beat Rory instead of the guy who lost to JT Poston. He'll hit fairways just like Spaun, hit greens just like Spaun, and unlike Spaun he'll make putts.
That being said, I would have given that spot to Thor.
