“We’ll see when he comes back. I don’t have a timetable. I don’t know [if he’ll play this year]. I hope so. I still have hope there. He’s going to have to continue to work hard and get back to playing football. When people come back from injuries there’s different things that happen. Sometimes they return fast. Sometimes it’s slow. It’s really a timing thing, a healing thing, and a confidence thing. I really don’t [know when he’ll return]. I wish I did, but we’ll see. Any time you have an injury, there’s discomfort you have to push through. That’s what it comes down to. We haven’t been able to get over that hump.”

One of those who got paid and now don't want to play. I've got the feeling that he is one of those before he got the bag, but was blinded by his skills when he is on the field. Unfortunately, you can NOT tell which person is which. Reminds me of a RG the Bears paid and did NOT want to play.

We're shifting the goalpost here. Very few are concerned about the players you mention. What is Poles doing to make up for his blunder in not finding an edge when other playoff teams found them? ha is the key to keeping opponents under 30 points per game.
Doubt it…..but with the 10mil guaranteed this year it'll be difficult to trade him….
If he's healthy before by week 6 than I would say YES. If this drags out any further than that, my guess is they cut the cord. It really is a shame. I was so excited for this guy at times of his career.

Kyler Gordon is a talented player but he’s charming soft. He’s the reason you have to ask if guys are hurt or injured because it sure appears that he is just hurt and not willing to play with a boo boo. Not the type of guys you want in the locker room. Took that pay day and put it in neutral to coast through collecting checks while sitting home on his couch thinking about ballet dancing. Cut bait and let him be someone else’s IR hog and steal their money. Always such a shame when so much talent gets wasted in guys with such a soft mentality. You don’tsurvive in the NFL if you sit out every time you get a little discomfort. Trade him and let’s forget he was here and took advantage of us. Ben wanted him to be one of the faces of his team and got him paid as soon as he took over but and Kyler took that as time to do nothing since he got big money. Gordon hasn't played since the end of January and somehow in 7 months he hasn't healed from a soft tissue injury? WTF! The Bears need to plan on never having him play for them again. I'd bet Johnson doesn't want a player on his team with zero fortitude and willingness to play through soft tissue crap.
He's doing it on purpose. This coaching staff didn't draft him. He's seen what was done to Brisker. In my opinion he's set in his ways with the organization and doesn't trust them. Oh well
I think mentally Kyler has checked out, he sees and hears the talk about him and still he hasn't come out to prove anyone wrong about his willingness to play and earn his pay.

Kyler Gordon playing for the Bears again is a hard sell right now. We can speculate all day about the why, too. Does Gordon not like Johnson's coaching style? Is he averse to the physical practices? Or worse maybe, is Gordon afraid he'll get hurt again? Regardless, you're right Harrison. . .the trust is gone.
