Raw bodyboarding clips from a heavy day at Waimea Bay, with Andre Botha and a crew of chargers attacking the massive detonating shorebreak.
A massive set rolled through and completely washed out the crew, creating a sketchy situation in the impact zone. Ocean Safety/lifeguards were nearby and assisted, but the bodyboarders handled it like pros and got themselves sorted.
No edits. No music. Just raw Waimea power.

Remember getting sucked out almost to the point, Bodyboarding the shore break in the late evening the day of the 1984 Pipe Masters ( I think Joey Buran won ) when I was 16 years old. There was like 5 of us. I was shitting bricks that day. Iโll never forget that day.
