Good Good isn’t the only YouTube golf brand facing some blowback on social media this week.
Grant Horvat, one of the most popular YouTube golfers – he has more than one million followers on Instagram – announced this week that he is selling his own version of kids golf clubs. Horvat, a standout golfer, took to his Instagram Story to announce the news on social media.
“Excited to launch my first kids set of golf clubs,” he announced.
“I couldn’t find a good set so I decided to make my own.”
The kids club set is dubbed “Lil’ Legends.”
“The First & Only Starter Set That Uses Fun Shapes And Colors To Teach Your Toddler Real Golf Fundamentals As They Play…” the set reads.
Horvat is promoting the club set on social media.
“Lil’ Legends is the most fun way for your toddler to learn how to drive, hit, and putt… Because they just play – and the See & Swing System teaches real golf fundamentals through the colors they see and the shapes they match,” the set reads.
But the cost of the clubs – $199 – is facing criticism.
Fans rip Horvat for cost of his youth clubs
“As much as I hate Good Good. This guy is pretty close. Such an unlikable spoiled rich kid,” one fan wrote.
“What’s really preposterous is all the Lemmings that financially support these clowns and who can’t think for themselves. Not vibe advice Just clear as day,” one fan added.
“They look cheap, the margin on them must be insane. And they are no different than any other kids clubs. It’s not like Grant is a tour pro or even any sort of coach so I don’t see the point in paying for the instruction aspect,” one fan added.
“ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-NINE DOLLARS For 3 plastic clubs. We’ve lost the plot,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see how they sell, of course.
