A now-deleted advert for a Good Good and Callaway golf club showed professional golfer Alexis Miestowski being shoved to the ground by YouTube creator Garrett Clark.
The video has received criticism for making light of violence against women. Good Good has said sorry claiming the actions in the video are not aligned with its values.
People are now asking how did it get through an entire production process in the first place?

The latest statement from Callaway. What do you think?
To our customers, employees, stakeholders and golfers everywhere:
Last week, Good Good Golf and Callaway posted a video to promote a co-branded driver. While the video was produced by Good Good, it was approved by Callaway prior to posting. That approval should never have happened. Mistakes were made, and we are taking the matter very seriously.
As we deal with the consequences of our mistake and complete our investigations, I want to make it clear that we sincerely apologize for the video. The content was inappropriate and does not reflect our values. To be clear: We are unequivocally against discrimination, domestic violence, or threatening behavior of any kind.
As soon as we recognized the seriousness of the issue, it was escalated appropriately, and the video was immediately removed. Preliminary statements were issued by both Good Good and Callaway, and now this statement has followed. We are also conducting both internal and external investigations and have already made changes to our approval processes aimed at ensuring this will never happen again.
We believe we have been a positive force for diversity and inclusion in the game of golf. This video was completely inconsistent with that. I assure you that we will learn from this and do better.
Humbly,
Chip Brewer – CEO, Callaway Golf
Except good good has done more for womans golf then every fake advocate combined.
Its a skit copying a show.
Not a good one but lets not act like every F TV show has things 1 million times worse. But who cares about that right bc Hollywood gets a pass.
They are kids
It sucked but grow the f up. The fake victims are crazy these days
Yeah… Tiger and Happy and the only two people allowed to tackle someone and be funny.
Wow you must also think if someone in a movie dies it happened in real life. Its acting you morons
People know it's fake right? Why are people acting like he actually committed a crime? It's really odd how people are treating this like an actual physical attack.
Thank you for not thinking this is funny unlike some male creators
I'm sure Fox News will come up with some spin. They always do…..
How dumb is all of this 😂
It made it through the process of doing it because it aligns perfectly with their brand. It’s MAGAish and hey’re not all that great towards women and their women who are accepting of it not being all that great towards them. It is perfectly aligned with who they are.
Wow! That was way worse than I thought it was going to be. Aside from the physical violence toward a woman, what I found so disturbing was the guy's genuinely menacing tone of voice. So disturbing. The company apologized and all, but someone who represents that organization approved the ad in the first place. If they wanted to express their customers' zeal for their product, why not have him tackling another man? Why a woman? I hope they (and the executive from the ad agency who devised this POS) were let go.
This ad is wrong in every way. How did it make it through layers and levels of production? Probably because it was all misogynistic men in the room each time just laughing it off…so disappointing.
Obviously, there weren’t any adults in the room, making quality control decisions that day.
People are overreacting as usual. People aren’t happy anymore unless they’re complaining and outraged over something. This is not violence against women, it’s just a moron being overly protective of his golf equipment. Would people have had the same reaction if it was a man shoving a man? Or, better yet, a woman shoving a man? Of course not.
And screw the golf ad! The real story here is the gorgeous ginger. I now MUST subscribe to this channel.
It was a poor attempt at humor. All parties have sincerely apologized. What else do you want them to do?
Gotta love cancel culture, it was a bit lmao nothing real about it
What’s crazy is if I was a boy no one would say anything
Where's the entire ad? I want to see what so many fart brains imagine ("think" would not apply) you could add to this to make the scene acceptable!!!
BRO YOUR TWISTING UP THE STORY GET OT RIGHT OR DONT POST AT ALL THERE GETTING CANCELED FROM PEOPLE LIKE YOU😢
It's a funny ad. Next thing you know the lunatic pitchfork minions will try canceling Eggo waffles for "Get your hand off my Eggo." Pathetic.
Garret never touch Alexis. Its only a stupid advert. You can see how Alexis laugh.
She willingly participated in the ad. As a woman do you not trust her judgment to make her own decisions
Drug cartels behead women. Where’s the uproar about that?
No woman should ever touch a Good Good product ever again.🛑 Let the backlash continue forever.♀️♾️
This is hilarious, people are soft.
