I paid just $81 for a VZN.1i-style zero-torque putter from Temu to find out whether a budget putter like this can actually deliver the alignment, stability and putting performance that makes this style of putter so interesting. The custom L.A.B. Golf VZN.1i currently costs $599 so I wanted to see what $81 actually gets you.
In this video, I unbox the putter, inspect the build quality, test whether it actually behaves like a zero-torque putter, compare my results on the practice green, and finally take it onto the golf course.
And there’s a twist:
I’m returning this putter.
But I’m also ordering another one.
I think some of the problems I found may have more to do with the specific specs and build of this putter than the entire idea so the second $81 putter is getting the exact same tests.

Good watch , I'm seeing a lot of our club golfers playing the Temu putters but are they legal to play in club comps ? 🏌🏼♂️🏌🏼♂️
Have the same putter. Very few putters are actually zero torque. This putter is Lie angle balanced so should be slightly heel weighted so that the face stays square to the path when putting. You need to put the putter in a reveller I made a home made reveller with piping and wood. In my reveller it was pretty good at keeping the face square to path. The grip can be removed easily with a tool that you can buy on Temu. Look on YouTube for a good video from club fitter. Consider not pressing the grip forward when putting this is a misconception as you are de-lofting the putter face. Let the press grip do the work allowing the small loft on the putter to lift the ball get it rolling quicker and not skidding. Hope this helps ATB John
You are way over your head in this review. Your putting is bad. Your put surface isn't flat. Dent or paint flag on putter doesn't matter a bit. This is no Zero balanced putter, it's a lie angle balanced putter. You need some dolittle to test it for that. Cover with one seam overlapping on 80$ putter is a joke critic.. and it's not a premium putter.
