The brochures aim to show off assets in the region and drive tourism to Limerick.
Two new promotional publications have been unveiled, designed to solidify Limerick’s reputation as one of Ireland’s premier golf destinations ahead of the 2027 Ryder Cup.
The newly launched ‘Golf Limerick: Welcome to Limerick’ brochure and the ‘Golf Limerick Media Guide’ have been released in both digital and print formats, with physical copies currently being distributed across the city and county to hotels, visitor attractions, and tourism operators.
The release marks the latest phase of the broader Golf Limerick initiative, a legacy project designed to leverage the international visibility of the 2027 Ryder Cup to boost local hospitality, retail, and tourism.
A promotional video produced for the campaign has amassed over 1.7 million views across social media and online platforms, backed by a nationwide advertising push across radio, digital out-of-home screens, and online channels.

The new publications are aimed at incoming visitors and local businesses to show off courses, dining, accommodation, and day-trip attractions.
The ‘Golf Limerick Media Guide’ has been designed as a resource for international journalists, broadcasters, and travel writers, detailing local stories, course specifications, and points of interest.
Commenting on the launch, Mayor of Limerick John Moran said, “Golf Limerick is about much more than golf. It’s about showcasing our city and county to the world and ensuring that Ryder Cup 2027 leaves a lasting legacy for communities, businesses and tourism across Limerick.”

Donn O’Sullivan, Head of Marketing and Communications at the Council, added that public and industry response to the Golf Limerick campaign has exceeded initial projections, with the new brochures providing a practical guide for both media and travelling golfers.
Both publications are now accessible online via Limerick.ie, with print editions available at business and tourism hubs throughout Limerick.
