I review the brand new Callaway Quantum Mini Spinner which is available in a 7 wood, 9 wood & 11 wood. These new golf clubs create more spin and launch for higher softer landing approach shots to the green. I test it on TrackMan as well as taking outside and trying from different lies including the thick rough! Very surprised.

loved the shots at the end of the video. Well done.
How do you think the 11 wood will play distance wise low swing spedd
Left handers once again shafted. !!!!
Have a 1994 heavenwood that produces the same numbers
Don't need it….got a 20* 6 wood!
Callaway steelhead plus 2 blue head … Still the best looking 5 wood ever and I've still got SDLR TP 5 wood ❤as well in my garage
It's all well and good talking about improving peak height all the time, but I played yesterday (in the UK) in crazy, strong wind. It was making a difference to my drives, l dread to think what it would have done to a shot from a spinny 11 wood!?!
So, a heavenwood?
Can't wait to try this with a heavier and stiffer shaft. I really like the thought of a 215-220 yard club into long par 3s and in-between on the par 5 yardages.
How r these significantly different from the ol calloway seven heaven and divine 9? Most people have discounted them as "old tech no longer relevant in a low spin world". But now that spin is back, would love to see a comparison video with those clubheads reshafted with a modern day shaft
I hit the spinner yesterday at cool clubs and pulled it a lot. Very narrow head. High pitch noise it makes is an acquired taste. Carry to total wasn’t that close. Hit the titliest gts3 7 wood perfect with 10 yard carry to total difference like I was looking for
It's a remade 7 wood. Heavenwood etc. I use an Epic Max 7 wood now. No need to trade.
I don’t remember you wearing a glove!!!
You know….meh!! Just not into it. I have a 5 wood from the early 2000s. That gets me out of trouble, goes straight, and cost $5
I rather get a more adjustable Cobra OPTM X fairway wood for 7 and 9 wood.
"little bit of more land angle…" 😅 – it's 5*! That's huge! That's coming in like a PW and will stop within ~5-10ft of where it lands compared to a 45* land angle.
Is it not just a rebadge of the Apex UW
sorry if not related : I am thinking of getting a custom shaft trip trimmed, would like your advice : my iron shaft are UST RECOIL DART 75 (F4) 78g ; my 3 wood velocore blue 6S (65g) ; driver velocore blue 5S (58,5g) ; for my 3 hybrid shaft i am looking at two option : UST RECOIL DART 85 hybrid (F4) 83g or the UST REOCIL DART 75 (F3) 77g with + 1 inch tip trimming to get it to F4 stiff flex. The idea is to match the shaft weight progression ? What would you advice , maybe something totally different ?
thanks
It is similar to the 3 5 7 wood
Just go buy a 60 bucks callaway warbird..same distance
Anyone try these against a Max or TD 7 wood yet?
He SOOO undersells this club cause he’s just not used to seeing a ball travel 215 carry but looks exactly like a sand wedge coming down.
AND….what he will miss as well, even if you pull it or block it 7 yards either way, it’s SITS right down. That doesn’t happen with a 4 iron pulled left. A 4 iron pulled left also tends to GO more left with a hooked spin. So it hits and runs until it reaches a hazard. Or a BARN.
What this guy is gonna MISS is: whether straight, 7-8 yards left or right, these clubs will land almost the exact same distance. And they sit.
I tested this mini spinner on Friday. These things are awesome!
Im getting the 9w.
I carry it right around 200.
So much fun to hit.
These clubs are just TOO NEW for this “Boomer-tard”.
He’ll still be carrying a “Blade” 2 iron cause he tells himself: “I have the club head speed to get a 2 iron in the air!!!!!
Again, Boomer-tard…….
It’s DUMB, it’s Unnecessary, and the misses are SOOO violently punishing, (missing a 2 iron or 3 iron that you’re swinging 95% of your full potential)
DUMB….
Yeah, try hitting a little 3/4 chip 3 iron and look at the ball flight…..it’s pathetic.
These mini spinners, you can 3/4 chip them, FK’ing AWESOME !!!
Boomer-tard
Just bought the 7w mini spinner… excited to try it out
what shaft, weight flex were you using in this vid for your swing speed? thanks
most club golfers need roll out, not stopping power at 220 yards.
Can you use it in the rough? Or should I go UW or Hybrid? Asking for a friend. 😮
You need to test at a lower swing speed since that what it’s designed for. 😮
Thanks for testing in the rough. More of those tests please UW?
