Man when I saw the thumbnail I was so stoked because I thought you had Drew Cooper on the channel
Talk about perfect timing! I've been doing a deep dive this week of many of your videos from the past several years regarding the trail elbow. I suffer from a flying elbow and arm overrun on the backswing. I'm in NJ, so I really need to come up to one of your CT clinics next season.
such great instruction
Another added extra is that without trying, the trail shoulder is pushed towards the target because of the hand path.
It happens because your not folding the trail arm prematurely.
But as Adam consistently says, it is a consequence of the set up.
I can't thank Porzak golf enough, at 66 years old I finally really know my swing, and when I'm out of position.
And I'm as long or longer than in my 40s because my path is better and I hit the ball in the center of the club more consistently.
Great stuff as usual.
I love your instruction. If you had a class in Connecticut next week on vacation, I would have went, but I guess next year.
Dude. Love this channel!! I came to you looking for this exact thing – was going to find an older video, but PRESTO!! you had a new video with what I needed. Thanks guys!! Love ya work. Fyi, I recently started working with a local coach, and it was funny when we first started — most of the things he said was stuff I had already heard here for the last year.
Why are you using ai voice in your intros?
Once he turns more on his backswing , that gets rid of that pull right?
Incredible video! Nobody talks about this! Thank you!
Adam, as always, bravo, sir! Bloody amazing lesson and just incredible teaching. The best of the best, period! Thank you so much!
The fact you aren't at 1 million subs yet is a national travesty.
I really look forward to these vids and they never disappoint!! Love it! thanks so much
I have same problem with flying elbow and major overswing, I am however only 5ft7 but more barrel chested and big shoulders(previous gym goer) and not very long arms so find it hard to keep that trail elbow in position infront of my chest, any tips for this?
I’ve been working on these exact things, this is so helpful thank you 🙏
Anybody else from the Midwest, let's get a Porzac School here!! Let's go!!
Porzak is the goat 🐐
Adam, great video. Can I assume this will work well with Seniors? Thanks in advance!
👍👍👍
Look how huge that backswing is, we're nuking this!' The ball: 180-yard slice. Thanks for another top-tier breakdown, guys!
Great video! The thought of "reaching out to the shelf" was exactly what I needed. Thank you Adam!
Bullseye 🎯….a powerful, profound lesson on proper positioning in the backswing focused on the real fix for inconsistency…
An uncanny example of how Porzak golf laser focuses on fixing those weaknesses so many just can’t resolve…without professional guidance. So Awesome. 1000 thank you’s.
Thought I was watching Davis Love III for a second.
the timing of this video is impeccable! i am having the same issues as Brian, Thank you Adam!
This really clicked with me. More power and more consistency with these teachings. Thank you Adam!
This has been my swing fault for years, constantly fighting overswinging. My hands get too far inside and too forward at the top. I started to take my hands more outside on the takeaway, feel wise, but in actuality, my hands are going straight back. Guess what, the overswing has been reduced and my club is more on plane. Thanks for this video which reinforces my swing thoughts.
"The arms stop when the body stop rotating – Never lift" is the key, but will that produce sufficient width & depth?
Now you are using the same range as Pierce and Andy?
I yearn for an “Oh Dude.” That’s how we know something worked! May I get the rights to put that on a shirt? This one seals it, I don’t have to ever watch any other YT “swing tip.” Many thanks Professor Porzak!
Great video. Can we talk about the shoes though? Not your normal Nikes. I have a guess but does anyone know
I have a question for you Adam. Should the top part of your left arm and left shoulder be internally rotated at address and stay that way through the backswing? Something I remain unclear about. I know Bryson DeChambeau said that is how he feels at address.
Incredible lesson. This is literally my exact issue and you even perfectly described my swing compensation which is to bring the club more inside which doesn’t work. I’m a 1 index and this one issue has stopped me from taking my ball striking to a more consistent level. I get long in my backswing and I get this horrible two way miss going. I have been trying to incorporate more width in my backswing with limited success but these swing cues are really helpful. I never connected the dots between more width helping to get that trailing arm/elbow in the right position. I always felt like getting the hands higher and further away from my body would cause me to swing left but that just isn’t true. It makes perfect sense watching you explain it. I can’t wait to start working on this. Thank you.
Thanks for the lesson, I have been looking for the answer for this problem.
Dude…9:40–10:05 is game changing. More people need to hear that. Thank you. So just to clarify…I should try to push my hands down the line as long as possible? I’ve always struggled to get to this position at the top and thought it was due to a lack of shoulder ER.
Bro, every video you make is the exact problem I think I have
