United States President Donald Trump’s aide, Natalie Harp, is going further than most people would find within reason to stay near the President’s side, according to recent reports. In Regime Change, a book by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, Harp is detailed as leaving a series of love letters for Trump in his “personal spaces,” with one reportedly reading, “You are all that matters to me.”
More recently, Trump biographer Michael Wolff wrote on his Substack that Harp has thwarted efforts to separate her from the President. In 2023, after she wasn’t assigned a room after Trump moved his campaign operation from Palm Beach to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, she took matters into her own hands and stayed nearby by shacking up in the maids’ quarters.
Hoff asserts that when Harp deemed the maids’ quarters weren’t close enough, she shifted to the women’s locker room for the remainder of the summer. Per the author, a sexual relationship isn’t suspected, but she maintained a conviction that Harp is hopelessly in love with Trump and has her goals set on becoming his “higher purpose bride.”
“It’s a Christian devotional relationship,” another Trump aide told Wolff.
It’s reportedly affecting his marriage.
Hoff has gone as far as to claim that the absence of Trump’s wife, Melania, from his campaign to the presence of Harp.
“Melania, whose appearances with her husband were carefully negotiated and choreographed, would not show up if Harp was around,” he wrote. “Since Harp was always around, Melania never was—appearing with her husband only in the last week of the campaign.”
Woff added, “Other than at ceremonial occasions, or in a strictly official capacity, she has given up the role of wife,” he wrote. “Practically speaking, there is no room for her.”
Per the Daily Beast, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung is denying all of Hoff’s claims.
“Michael Wolff is a lying sack of sh*t and has been proven to be a fraud. He routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain.”
