Woodbridge Golf & Country Club’s River Nine course will be closed for renovations starting Aug. 17, and is expected to be closed for six weeks.
The course renovations planned include complete bunker renovation, enhancements to the green surrounds, restroom upgrades and cart path repairs, according to a press release sent out on Thursday. The course should reopen in early October, while the Vineyard and Lakes nines will remain open to play.
“This refresh project underscores the club’s commitment to providing an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests,” said Woodbridge Golf & Country Club General Manager Ryan Bill. “These enhancements are designed to elevate playing conditions while supporting sustainable, year-round playability of the golf course.”
Woodbridge Golf & Country Club was founded in 1924 and has 27 holes across three course. The third nine-hole course was designed by architect Bert Stamps in 1979.
