I can't believe he had 4 birdies from the last 6 holes. Now that is next level under pressure. You have to be a special golfer to do that.

Proud of him as a kiwi. A small nation any person that succeeds on a world stage we love it a lot down here. He took the game by the scruff of the neck and never really got down when he missed the odd putt. He won this thing. His father a famous all black. He has his fathers brains. steady guy. Most importantly he played his own game. he played fast as he does naturally. hes not hesitating. We have a lot of 'sand based' courses down here close to the sea down here. So I think this would of helped him. Good on ya Foxy!
All top golfers should take a look at how the game should be played, ie none of this consulting the caddy for five minutes before taking there shot,it has become unbearable to watch, was a breath of fresh air watching Ryan fox

In Ryan's own words, he already knew how he was going to hit the 72nd putt, by the time he stood over it. If you know that, why allow the possibility, of paralysis of analysis.
I remember watching a NZ, local golf show, years ago, showing Ryan's training regime. He would be in a dead-end street, throwing small truck tyres around. No wonder he's far bigger than his old man. Go Kiwi! All NZers are proud of you, Ryan 😇
