New England Patriots 2026 Season Preview | Win Total, Division Odds & Super Bowl Chances

This New England Patriots 2026 preview breaks down the win total, division odds, and Super Bowl chances for a team that overachieved its way to the big game last year and now has to prove 2025 wasn’t the ceiling. Sean Green (@SeanTGreen) and Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric) had the under on New England’s win total last year and got run over for it — 14-3, an AFC title, and a non-competitive Super Bowl loss to Seattle. Cody Zeeb of the NASCAR Gambling Podcast, the Sassy Zebra himself, joined to argue the other side.

New England played the easiest schedule of any team since 2000 and still beat its point-differential-implied record by more than a win, and 2026 doesn’t offer the same cushion — the first four weeks alone are at Seattle, Pittsburgh at home, at Jacksonville, and at Buffalo. Drake Maye and the addition of A.J. Brown keep the offense in the conversation, and Treveyon Henderson’s rushing-yards number looks soft to both hosts after his 911-yard rookie season behind Rhamondre Stevenson. Christian Gonzalez anchors a defense both hosts think has a case as the league’s best, even with Mike Vrabel still fielding questions about an off-season story that hasn’t fully gone away.

The Patriots’ 2026 win total sits at 10.5 (-140 under / +115 over), up a full point since the summer, with the division at +120 and the playoffs at -225. Kramer’s the most bearish of the three at 8-9, Green’s close behind at 9-8, and Zeeb’s buying the regression skepticism and fading it outright on the over plus a 20-to-1 Super Bowl ticket.
