  2. i hate the team concept. It's ok once every 2 years but a golfer has to be like a gunfighter in the old west………..or a samurai. U live on the edge, never trusting anyone, except your gun and your horse. u sleep under the stars and your business is nobody's but your own.

  4. LIV only worked because it was underwritten with unlimited Saudi money. Without that, it was not sustainable. Businesses fail and people have to move on – everyday.

  9. Sounds like the PGA Tour has developed an association with the Australian Open. Hope that they also pick up the LIV Adelaide tournament and make a serious effort to promote both, creating something of an Australia winter swing. While LIV is a failure, it has shown the world how much interest there is in professional golf tournaments in Australia. And on its own merits, given the quality of courses it plays and the unique style of golf, the Australian Open deserves to be one of the 4 or 5 most prestigious tournaments in the game.

    If the PGA Tour really cares about the game of golf (not at all a given), they'll make an effort to promote Australia.

  15. We just saw what the possibility of equity ownership being in football and fifa did for negative reactions. Equity ownership nearly always presents problems because of where the money can go?

  16. I haven't missed any of these guys! And I never watched the PGA TV coverage because of them when they were PGA Tour players. And I always thought the PGA Championship should be played in another country every other year!

  17. I think LIV golf is in trouble and could collapse. If it does some of the players will end up on the PGA tour if they qualify, they won't be able to just walk on that'll cause chaos. If LIV golf had just been another regular professional tour I think they would have done fine but the teams concept and the 3 day tournaments doomed it IMHO. I could be wrong.
