President Trump is sending a clear message to those who are accusing him of “cheating” at his golf club championship in New Jersey on Sunday.
The 80-year-old President of the United States fired back at the critics of his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club championship on Sunday. President Trump won roughly his 40th ever golf club championship, winning both the Senior and Super Senior division, at his New Jersey club.
But not everyone is convinced that President Trump won fair and square.
“If you had to bet the mortgage, do you think Trump cheated to win the championship at his own course,” one critic wondered.
Another added: “Trump Cheats at golf – it’s been shown that he has cheated multiple times.”
“As someone who golfs, Trump claiming he won the senior championship at Bedminster is an insult. The worst kept secret at his clubs was Trump would kick the ball closer to the hole. The groundskeepers gave him the nickname, ‘Pelè,'” another critic shared.
But the President of the United States has decided to fire back at the critics of his golf club championship, with a statement of his own.
President Trump, 80, denies cheating at his club championship
President Trump says that despite his lack of practice time, he’s simply that much more talented than everyone else.
“The Winning Shot in the Bedminster Club Championship! Thank you very much to all of those who participated. I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practice, because I’m focused on many other things. It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he shared on his social media platform, Truth Social.
Unsurprisingly, President Trump is standing by his win, in a big way, on Sunday evening.
