  1. Sadly, liv seems to be cooked. However, I think this might be a representation of a greater sports bubble. 🫧. The pga tour has lost a tremendous amount of sponsorships also. The major sports leagues have hopped into be with gambling and streaming services. The sports entertainment ship is heading for an 🧊 iceberg.

  2. LIV is restructuring down to 30 mill purses x 10 events. The owed money has been paid by years end except John Rahm. The other contracts are done. So 250 probably gets them closer but still maybe 150 short if I had to guess.

  3. What a lot of people don't understand is LIV needs a BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR! Not just to get going. That is a huge amount of money needed a year to run a sports program that doesn't make a return on investment.

  4. 60,000? WhereTF do you get that number from? Fox, the LIV app and the tons of networks they are on worldwide? You added up all the viewership from the events they have had?. Over 800,000 apparently watch in Australia alone. Get a life

  5. LIV might need to shift away from the huge mega star golfers and focus more on up and coming pro golfers. Kind of like college football but for golf. But that would require some cooperation from the PGA tour to not screw these guys

  6. Are you feeling OK? I feel like you have a lot wrong here. First off, neither LIV nor the PGA Tour have majors. Second the billion dollars is the current structure. They will be reducing payouts for next year. They will also be giving players with contracts equity in the league instead of cash contracts per what I have read. 10 events will be perfect. Most of them can play DP events. They need up to 6 for membership there. That’s 16 plus the 4 majors is 20 events. That’s a full schedule for a lot of LIV guys. This is how I see it playing out. So yes $250 million should fund 10 tournaments on LIV given reduced tournaments, reduced payouts, a leaner operating product, and elimination of contracts.

  7. LIV should offer Wesley , Ruff , Dalke and Chase or George a Team spot if it survives to gain all the Youtube eyes and all those Guys are sticks who are at least as good as the bottom half or third of the LIV roster .

  8. Don't worry about making mistakes, happens to everyone. Liv golf is finished, if they stopped today few people would notice or care. Really enjoy your videos all the way here in Australia.

  9. One billion $ to the LIV is like one grain of sand. They have more money to spend then KIng Soloman did yet the Jews are poor and their Kings are rich….LIV is jjust going under ground to restucter and cut the fat….PGA had better wise up and do the same…..

  10. LIV has asked for a payment extension for next years LIV Adelaide's new venue Kooyonga. 500K AUD I believe is needed to go ahead. Kooyonga has given them a payment extension apparently:

On Tuesday, South Australia premier Peter Malinauskas said he had been made aware that LIV had asked for an extension on a payment to Kooyonga, worth a reported $500,000.

“An extension was sought by LIV as they’re working through programming next year for those payments to be made in September,” he said.

    “That extension was granted

  11. why are you so obsessed with LIV golf and YGT – stay true to yourself – you are a great teacher and host in helping people become better players of the game of golf – you have become to consumed with having to comment on this sidebar stuff

  12. Liv will file bankruptcy to re structure debt. Then get funding. Then people can continue to go to LIV events and actually have a good time. Not be bored to death with stuck up muddy ass cheese and wine dicks.

  13. Love the show. Please don’t become one of these grown men who cries about LIV Golf. The PGA Tour is boring, if it wasn’t LIV would have never existed. The PGA Tour sucks, it’s no one’s fault it sucks except for the PGA Tour. Stop blaming LIV and its players for the fact the PGA Tour is boring and no one watches it. Thanks.

  14. I have watched LIV from day one, its best viewing figures were achieved when it was a YT broadcast, there was a bunch of us worldwide that commented live during broadcast. In the UK they have so far linked with 3 different broadcasters for short periods, i will not pay their paywall, just to watch LIV, i have no interest in their other stuff. So i watch using a VPN from a free broadcaster in a different country. I do not watch the PGAT because there are too many ads. So my golf is LIV, YT. Majors and other tour highlights via YT. I will not pay a subscription to a sports channel to watch the occasional golf event. Sports broadcasting will change, the number of ads are ruining events, the football World Cup with its so called hydration breaks, actually ad breaks, the is a US invention. I travel to the US regularly and all of its TV is unwatchable, the rest of the world will not accept the US broadcast model. LIV should go back to being a YT product, have 8 main events, then lots of YT programmes, with invited guests, similar to the Duels. This would get millions of eyeballs, and could grow organically

  15. I really think LIV was great in theory, just didn't work in practice. The team format which was it's bread and butter didn't translate well on it's broadcast, focus was still on the individual win. Clearly didn't register in the US. Also ways to watch was complicated. FS1, FS2, Fox, sometimes on YouTube sometimes not, CW was a disaster. The pay to watch on the app was not communicated at the start of the rebranded season. Ticket prices were decent, cost of the merchandise not so much. I do feel the league lost some of it's soul after Greg Norman too. All in all I enjoyed it for what it was, and it was fun to watch. Got my young son involved in golf because he related the music to Top Golf plus he loved the Majesticks so if anything it forged that bond between us which I am greatful for.

  16. It was kind of suspicious that PIF was buying names to fill their tour with $B and I thought it was all paid up front to the players to bolt from the PGAT. But if you’re saying its being amortized, that’s a giant ponzi scheme. All LIV needs to do is declare Bankruptcy and the players will have to just lick their wounds and move on.

  17. The Player's is not bigger than the PGA Championship as it is not a Major. Simple as that. If you asked an Tour Pro they would much rather win the PGA or the Players. Every one would take the PGA because it is a major. And I am tired of hearing about LIV. I know you need content but this subject is over. Finally. It will be interesting to see if the players who are owed big bucks get them.
