It’s been a hectic week for Paige Spiranac to say the least.
Spiranac, who played college golf at Arizona and San Diego State, competed on the Cactus Tour before attempting to join the LPGA Tour in 2016. She then made the switch to content creation and became incredibly popular on TikTok and Instagram. Unfortunately for Spiranac, she has dealt with a handful of online impersonators.

“I have so many people impersonating me online. It’s out of control and I know I’m not the only one. You shouldn’t be allowed to make an account pretending to be someone else. Please do not talk to anyone claiming to be me. I will NEVER ask for money or ask to chat somewhere else like Telegram. Please be safe out there,” she wrote on social media earlier this week.

Spiranac has also dealt with people criticizing her content on YouTube. She fired back at her critics this Friday though.

“I love when people say all I do is show off my body and nothing else,” Spiranac wrote on X. “Yet I’ll post YouTube videos showing a different side to me but then THEY WONT WATCH lol.”
Spiranac has developed a love-hate relationship with social media.
While there’s no doubt Spiranac has benefitted from her success on social media, she has also dealt with an unfair amount of hate online.
“I am in a bit of a funk, a rut if you will, and its not like a one or two day thing,” Spiranac said earlier this year. “This has been going on for a little bit. I feel like I’ve just been so in my head about everything and I’m just trying to work through it. I think that’s why I haven’t been posting as much because I am just overthinking everything and I just feel like my anxiety has taken control. I’m trying to push myself outside of that and post more and get back to what I was doing before. I feel like I haven’t been active because I’ve just been in my own head, in this kind of funky rut and we’re working through it.”

Hopefully, Spiranac’s struggles on social media come to an end.
