There were 27 players who turned out on a very warm day to compete in the Woolfox Golf Club Senior Captains Charity Day.
Hosted in aid of the RNID and raising about £900, the winner on the day in a high scoring singles competition was Don Lambert.
Golf was followed by refreshments in the marquee and presentations of the prizes were made by two representatives from the charity, who said they were delighted it had been chosen as the recipient.

It was a privilege to be part of such a memorable occasion and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success.”
