  1. 2 of your shanks were with long irons. I suspect you had a little doubt in your mind. Perhaps play a 6 or 7 iron instead and see if you're more successful. I have been employing the HOAL (heart of a lesbian) method for about a month now and i have dropped 5 strokes, easily.

  2. Never heard of @GolfSidekick before but I felt he talked a lot of common-sense during your chats. I also think your swing looks much better in this video so you'll definitely start breaking 80 shortly.

  3. Yes you can, Matty's speaks the gospel. I am proof. I did it today! Shot 79 today playing OMG golf with the heart of a lesbian. I'm 53 and my longest drive todat was 230. 3/4 power is the answer! Thanks Matty.

  4. Around the green, remember that your worst putt will probably be better than your worst chip. Having said that, I will be the first to admit that I don’t feel ā€œconfidentialā€ (yes, I also watch Matty Boom-Boom) putting from off the green, unless I’m just off. But that’s me, and I’ve been chipping with mid-irons for years, so I’m comfortable grabbing a 6-iron from just off the fringe. Most of my golf buddies are happy to use the Texas wedge from 10 feet or more off the green, often with good results, and they don’t skull it or chunk it.

  5. So, you hit irons off the tee. I doubt you tried the 75% swing power. To get used to doing that takes time. Those chip shots you hit could have been easier with a putter. If you are used to a club for chipping – use it. Using other clubs takes practice for distance control. Avoiding the short side is a good tip. I have been applying these principles, but it takes practice as well as a different mental approach to the game. Remember that you will shoot percentage of A, B, C, and D rounds in any case.
