The Sell Out Streak has been a Fraud for years! Corporations buying up Lots of Seats have kept the Sellout going, not the average Nebraska fan.
I grew up going to the football games in the 70's, 80's and some of the 90's prior to moving out of state. The stadium has consistently been filled
with older fans sitting on their hands. Many of whom have told us to sit down and be quiet. Seriously? This is what we want in our stadium?
I now live i Florida, but am flying into Omaha to see family the second week of September. We just picked up 4 tickets from a third party seller
and couldn't be more happy regarding the location of the seats and the price. FTR, we've purchased from StubHub and other venues numerous
times in the past as we live out of state and it's never once affected the stadium being full.
The reason why there might be some seats empty isn't going to be due to third party ticket sales. It will be due to the quality of wins. Husker fans
have been the most loyal in the history of CFB and yet, what has the last 20 years gotten us? NOTHING. People have to chose between paying bills
and attending games that are boring and we often have lost. Hopefully this is the year when this downfall finally ends.
I went to the Iowa game last year. First time since the Pelini years I’ve been to a game. I got yelled at by the guy letting cars into the parking garage. I got yelled at by some lady saying I was in her seat when she was actually in the wrong row. The game was freezing cold. The game was not even competitive. Everyone left in the 3rd quarter. Awful place from what I remember. Why go pay money to see that. Why support a program of a bunch of overpaid people. Time to move on. Not a happy place to be at all.

Watch what happens when he takes are tickets away and then wants us to do the reseat process at an inflated price. Your normal blue collar fan will not have the money, so they will just stay home. Tear down that south stadium, spend millions and then look at a stadium which is only half full. they WILL REGRET RUNNING OFF THE TRUE FANS.
The theory for the reseat is just bad thinking. If the stadium isnt full you are not making as much. Ticket prices will not offset the loss of food and drink revenue from a packed stadium.
No one likes to pay more for tickets, but the reseat was long overdue. Revenue is needed to field a competitive team in the current Big10. You can't simultaneously cry about substandard recruiting classes and losing seasons and also complain about paying more for tickets. Lower attendance is a problem for most college sports given changing societal trends. The University is in a tough spot without many great options. Buckle up!
Rhule and Holgersen's mid-tier Big 12 offense doesn't work against big and tough Big 10 teams. Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois just push us up and down the field like 94 Huskers.
One of the very few things I HATE ABOUT BEING AN ALUM AND FORMER PLAYER ….and honestly there aren't many….but the one I hate the most is knowing what crazy tactics and "ways around" things have been utilized since The Retirement of Coach Osborne & the Firing of Coach Solich.
It puts a big lump in my chest that I can't spit out !

I’m so tired of the negativity in this fan base. We have the most talented team we’ve had in a long time this year. I’m not worried about the sellout streak. I could care less. That doesn’t win us any games. Memorial Stadium will be full and if it isn’t for a game or two, who cares. We have to win. Fix the product on the football field and ticket prices and all that other crap won’t matter. Nebraska loves their football team. All the talks about firing people is just absolutely ridiculous. If you fire someone, you’re just gonna get someone even more incompetent to fill their place. I I am happy with who’s here right now. We just got to watch a sweet 16 run for the basketball team. Our athletic program had perhaps the best year it’s ever had. Things are being run well. You guys are all idiots. Have some patience for God sakes.

Our main purpose for the University is to educate. The athletic program is extracurricular!

I agree you can not exclude the blue collar fan. They’re the only reason the streak exists. Period. I do think that the excitement is actually going to build. The class coming in could change the narrative. Matter of fact it really has to. The upgrades to the stadium are well over due, and need to happen. Stay optimistic Big Red Nation. It can’t rain forever.
The best thing for the health of NU football is for that streak to end. Blue collar fans been treated like crap and taken for granted. The overpaid administration and coaches aren't even worried about quality product.They think we'll come sit in the cold to watch our team get curbstomped by another unranked team.
