Whenever you have a conference with better teams from top to bottom, it means that the teams that have to face each other inside that conference have a harder task at hand and are ultimately not as healthy when it comes to the postseason, whereas teams from conferences that are top-heavy get the coast majority of their regular season as well as get to play younger players, making the roster more experience when it comes to how many people can step up, which makes them better suited for postseason

It’s hilarious that 1 the SEC cares so much about other teams in their conference truly embarrassing but 2 it’s quite the double standard when Alabama loses to Vandy it’s look how deep the SEC is but when a Top Big 10 loses to say Nebraska, Iowa it’s look how overrated OSU, Michigan, etc are
It’s a reason why they separated the conference, you put the winning teams from the big ten or 12 and move them to the sec, they will fail an won’t be the teams they was in the big ten…

it's not ONLY what these guys are saying as far as the CFP… but bowl season overall. the SEC in recent years is not performing well in bowl season.. specifically when it comes to playing the Big10… so not only is it about the top of a conference defining which conference is better, but the middle of the pack ae well. both the top and middle of the pack belong to the Big10. that's what the results of the past few years in bowl season say… not just the CFP
