Kai Trump Says She Gets Her Motivation to Succeed From ‘Grandpa’ Donald Trump

Kai Trump said President Donald Trump is the reason behind her competitive drive during a Fox & Friends interview. Preparing for her first season playing Division I golf at the University of Miami, she described Trump as a “cool grandpa” who encourages her, checks on her academics, and often trash-talks while they play golf together. Kai stressed that politics is “not her thing” and said she wants to focus on golf, while continuing to publicly defend her grandfather against negative portrayals in the media.
