Taylor Pendrith: “This Hurts… But It Gives Me Huge Confidence” | ISCO Championship 2026

Taylor Pendrith reflects after losing in a three-hole playoff at the 2026 ISCO Championship, admitting the defeat is painful but insisting the week has given him the confidence he desperately needed.

⛳ Pendrith says he’s proud of the way he battled all day, recovering from a tee shot into the water on the opening hole to force a playoff with a superb final-round 67.

💔 The Canadian walks through the decisive playoff, explaining how a poor drive into the fairway bunker on the final extra hole left him with an almost impossible task.

🎯 Pendrith also reflects on the missed birdie chance on the first playoff hole, admitting he struck the putt well but simply hit it a touch too firmly.

📈 Despite the disappointment, he believes this is exactly the performance he needed after a frustrating season in which good golf hadn’t been rewarded with results.

💪 The former PGA TOUR winner says he felt completely comfortable under pressure, producing quality shots and clutch putts throughout the final round.

👨‍👩‍👦 Away from the course, Pendrith credits his wife and two young sons for helping him keep perspective, saying there’s nothing better than going home to his family after a difficult day.

🏆 He also admits making the International Team for this year’s Presidents Cup remains one of his biggest goals, hoping this runner-up finish can kick-start the second half of his season.
