  2. Love the show & you two..all the best from Australia for "Tommy Lad" & England for the world cup( spent a lot of time back in the day in the 🇬🇧 have a soft spot)

  3. How can Palmer declare “Fleetwood has shown he can perform under pressure , Fitzpatrick hasn’t “. Apart from Fitzpatrick stiffing it to 10 feet from a bunker at the 18th in the US Open to win a major . Something that Fleetwood has never really come close to doing . Also he mentions Cam Youngs “slump” recently – yet no mention of his wrist injury that caused the slump . Good show I always enjoy it and all about opinions . I too like Cam Young at the prices . Good luck all.

  8. There are plenty of golf punting podcasts out there. But I have only found ONE covering Corales Puntacana this week and that is not even going to be on the telly. Steve is the GOAT. Morikawa wins The Open. Higgo wins again in The Dominican Republic.

  9. my picks for this week (picked them on Monday) (prices right at 9.30am Wednesday)

The Open Championship – Tom McKibbin E/W @ 90/1 (12 places E/W with Paddy Power)

Corales Puntacana Championship – Seamus Power E/W @ 35/1 (10 places E/W with Paddy Power)

    McKibbin was 125/1 on Monday

  10. Steve give your head a wobble …..Spence the worst player EVER to play for England???….do you not remember carlton palmer, midfielder at Sheffield Wednesday back in the day???…as gazza recently said of modern day footballers…couldn't trap cement !!!!…as for this current squad Madueke is far worse than Spence !!!….Argentina have Messi on the right …we got Madueke !!!!…enough said 🙈🙈🙈🙈

  11. This is a romantic story of how Scottie has missed the cut for the first time and then defends the open at Birkdale

    The stage is yours Scottie
    Glory awaits

  12. my final card
    Matt fitzpatrick 24.0 win & 3.05 top 10 ( betfair exchange)

    Colin morikawa 28/1 ew 8 places ( bet365)

    Victor Hovland 33/1 ew 8 places ( bet365)

    Russell henley 45/1 ew 8 places ( bet365)

    Sam burns 50/1 ew 8 places ( bet365)

    Patrick Reed 50/1 ew 8 places ( bet365)

There are other guys who didn't quite make my card .
I left them off cuz they are all around the same price and i cant be betting 4 guys at 28/1 .
    They were
    Chris gotterup 25/1
    R mcintyre 28/1
    Wyndham Clarke 28/1
    Tyrell Hatton 30/1
Hopefully they dont go and win.
Maybe inplay i might get involved affter the cut on Saturday but i dont want more than 6 bets pretournament.
    Good luck guys

  13. Good luck everyone this week. Thursday is my fave sporting day of the year…

    I have a betbuilder with SBK: 4999/1

    Top 10 ~ Matt Fitz & Rory
Top 20 ~ Henley, Reitan, McKibbin & Enchavaria

  14. Can't believe this , I'm on cameron young at 70-1 eachway from just after the (5th major) win earlier in the year and my main fancies are fleetwood and hatton .

  15. Birkdale is where it all started for Justin Rose. Would love to see him win the Open

    Best Bets (72 holes);

    Rose (to bt Gotterup)
Henley (to be Si Woo Kim)
    McIlroy (to bt Scheffler)

  16. Thanks guys, would be concerned the pressure and home expectation would get to Fleetwood more pressure than a Ryder Cup shot in my book, plus price looks poor, happy to run with Hatton win 30/1 and Hideki Matsuyama each way 12 places 50/1 ..and a minor dabble on Steve's first round leaders all of whom are early starters…looking forward to it !

  17. Just looking and I think Fleetwood went out 8.55am Sunday so surely played more then 18?? Just doing my bets now, very hard for the winner but gonna have a go. Got a 3 ball at about 15/2 too, Eric Cole, Adrien Saddier and Tom Kim to all win there 3 balls! Good luck folks 👍

  18. Tommy fleetwood has never entered a final round in a major within 3 shots of the lead , you would want your head testing backing him at 14/1 and no way is he a better golfer than matt fitzpatrick . Ill take matsuyama over him at 5x the price a player whos won far more round the world than fleetwood , billy horschel a dark horse .

  19. What's your choice of breakfast for the opening Matt Baldwin shot? Steve must be wishing he'd backed Detry already! This is proper golf! Cake and strawberries for me.
