Nebraska native and retired NASA astronaut Clay Anderson is the Honorary Chair of Heartland Family Service’s 33rd annual Safe Haven Golf Tournament.

Proceeds from the fundraiser support victims of sexual violence and services including Safe Haven, a concealed emergency shelter.

Anderson and HFS’s Chief Development Officer Theresa Cassaday sat down with KETV Newswatch 7’s Samanta Pastorino to talk about the event in Papillion.

Check in as early as 7:00 a.m on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Eagle Hills Golf Course to get photos with Astronaut Anderson.
