Nick always had a bee in his bonnet with Bryson. Even the masters last year Nick kept banging on about bad Bryson was. Then he eulogises over Rory at every moment. A bit annoying.
Bryson is utter garbage. Talks the talk but can't walk the walk. Doesn't even deserve to play in PGA

Bryson aint THAT dumb. He's played links a lot. When he says "attack", he means taking risks to a slightly higher degree than links usually demans. (I dont like the guy… and im sure hes a little gung-ho… but its not like he's never played links and respects their difficulty)
Bryson has worked with scott fawcett over the years on strategy and he preaches being aggressive off the tee, only really playing safe around OB and penalty hazards which i understand. The issue for me is that in the uk the courses can have rough that is almost a literal 1 shot penalty and thats if you find it. I agree with Nick that you simply have to have the ball on a rope if you are to play well on the links.
Funny thing though. In 2025 Masters instead of relying on his length of the tee, he laid back on a lots of attackable holes.

Yeah you can’t include LIV in this at all they play Bummy courses that are so easy for these guys. The PGA is the top of the top LIV is a sideshow. They’re not the same thing
Bryson only knows how to overpower golf courses and you cannot overpower links courses like this. That’s why he’ll never win an open

LIV guys come into majors and can’t do it and then go back to become superstars. Old Nick is going senile. Pretty sure Bryson won us open 2 years ago. Posted 6 top 10s in 8 majors. Brooks won pga in 2023. Nick is a senile clown.
