I don’t want a player who has to think about deciding between LSU and Nebraska. There is absolutely no comparison in this day and age. This is not the 1970’s/ 1980’s
I’ve been to Nebraska, other than the CWS in Omaha and some excellent steak there is nothing there. I don’t see him choosing the coach that looks like a teddy rumpkin, he’s going to be in purple and gold!

CLK is not "highly, highly emphasizing" Louisiana recruits. There's a death match going on to keep the top Louisiana recruit in-state. The next two LA recruits are committed elsewhere (and LSU basically let them walk without putting up a serious fight). Three more 4*s in the Top 10, plus 3 more 4*s. We're very likely to sign 6 of 14 LA blue-chippers, with 7 committed elsewhere (plus Royal). Yes, there are reasons. You can't make Royal commit. You don't want to sign high schoolers for huge dollar amounts when they won't be seeing the field at all as Freshman (or later). There were positional constraints (you can't realistically sign three QBs in the same class). LSU arguably has commitments from better out-of-state recruits than other in-state recruits they passed on. These were NOT "bad' decisions. We have MOST of the in-state blue chips that we really wanted. But this hardly reflects the kind of in-state focus that leads to "locking down The Boot."
It's all about the bag period I'm tired of these kids coming out professing their allegiance to any university its whoever has the most on their 40 plane and simple these kids really believe they are pro athletes that deserve to be bid on until they hit the field and produce at a high level i say bullshit grab known commodities out of the portal that are worth the cheddar give these 5 star wonderkids a fair offer if they come fine if not even better I want tigers not cubs let someone else pay for their development tax and snatch em up a year or two later 20 lbs of muscle bigger a tenth faster and most important a year or two more mature and a known talent level asset not a over his head immature problem !!!! If they are not 1000% in on the boot boot em down the road !! Cuz they will leave if not
