Last night I had a dream that you and I were filming a YouTube video on how many shots would it take us to reach the top of Mount Everest if we started at the bottom. Yes, I know it sounds dumb and weird and yes I know that would be a dumb idea for a YouTube video, but the scenery was beautiful and I was getting to play some golf with Matt Fryer so it was pretty cool in my mind…. 😀

Well done for posting this – probably the worst golf you have played this year , but thats not saying much . So many bad choices off the tee , blocks , hooks , 2 clubs short or thins through the back when approaching greens .The course was playing super short so no excuses . How many greens in reg did you hit ? Please dont enter any 'pro' tournaments until you sort all aspects of you game out , including course management.
Golf is a bastard of a game sometimes. One of those days Matt, as someone who through health issues can no longer play the game I love, just take a breath and try and enjoy it regardless of the quality of your play on the day. You did well not to have a meltdown!

Just at the start, Matt, and I WILL watch the whole thing, and I AM hoping you shoot 40+, but…doesn't seem very good incentive for you to shoot 40+ if you get to keep the Loch Lomond if you do worse! <grin> Play well!
i thought at the beginning, he had to play really well to give away the bottle? and then after like 6 holes, he changed it to giving the bottle away if he plays bad?
I'm not saying this is the reason for you're disappointing score but one of your playing partners appeared quite disrespectful and oblivious to the fact that they were sharing the course with other golfers – putting their ball down in front of you whilst you're about to putt on the first hole and marching across in front of you when you were about to hit a chip on the 2nd hole and doubtless a few other examples that I've missed along with some that you've deliberately left out of the video. I wonder what angry Matt from a few years ago would have done? 🤬
