Steelers Insider Mark Kaboly on the inevitability of a T.J. Watt contract restructure:
“I mean there’s a lot of dead money, and there’s going to be even more dead money when they restructure (Watt’s contract) coming up here in another month or so. Going to be mid-50s. They have to restructure Watt, they can get a bunch of money. They’re going to need money to give JPJ, right? Plus they have to pay the practice squad guys and all of the ancillary stuff. You can always create money. You can absolutely assure that he is going to get restructured here in the next month before they do Porter. Which leaves him pretty much hard to move next year.”

ESPN’s Mina Kimes on pairing Michael Pittman Jr. up with Aaron Rodgers:
“Adding Michael Pittman Jr., for me, I think, is a perfect match. Because [Pittman is] kind of a walking first down. He’s so consistent catching the ball, very low drop rate. Over the last three years in Indianapolis, top-10 catch rate on short targets. I think they’ve made additions this offseason that’ll help get the most out of this version of Aaron Rodgers. The arm strength’s not an issue. The thing with him is just that he doesn’t want to get contacted, so the ball’s gonna come out super quick. He’s not going to go down the field very much. Certainly not to the extent that he used to.”
2025 Steelers Passing Stats Leaders:
– Aaron Rodgers: 65.7% completion percentage, 3,322 yards, 24 touchdowns, 7 interceptions
– Mason Rudolph: 73.1% completion percentage, 310 yards, 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions

I swear Kaboly has no effing idea what he’s talking about
Brisker isnt a bad player by any means but I am worried in a sense of liability as hes been concussion prone in his career.
I love watt but his productivity isnt worth the amount of money
"Pittsburgh Legend" Aaron Donald
I think based on his performance I would move watt
Kaboly is the LAST guy I would listen to
they coulda had jefferson/chase and brown and that coaching staff woulda run the ball into stacked boxes what morons they are
my nana would be an upgrade play caller from last year and she is dead
m 7.5
Yeah
M
Oh no!! You’re saying TJ had one bad season?!?! In a year where our defensive schematics were totally old, known and not adjusted. We gave up the 2nd most yards in zone coverage and the 3rd most over the middle all scheme issues, QB’s also had the third fastest release vs us!! Again thanks to Tomlin old never updated crap, game passed him by!!!our new coaches are into modern always changing schematics!!! That will force QB’s to hold longer and TJ will bounce back.
Watt isn’t worth the money anymore, his production at this point has dwindled down a lot.
It's going to be nice to see how wrong you are next year
M
T.J. needs to take a pay cut and be a part of this SB run.
m
I just don’t trust drew Allan
More average depth yards per attempt. Close to 7 per.
M
Mina Kimes' who cares what she thinks
Kaboly is right 8% of the time
