It's not that Chinese clubs are bad or they lack anything a big brand has. It's the fact everyone has been sold the marketting lie from the big brands. Soon we'll be buying Chinese everything, and they'll be premium.

Bought a set of cobra rad speeds a few years back but you got to play a spinny ball with them other than that the trajectory is great and distance but you cant get a lot of action out of them i had been playing old ping zings for years that i learned pretty much what i could get out of them sadly i sold them

Main problem with this chinese clubs is, that they are not listed on the R&A database. Since it is not that expensive to get their clubs certified for good, I ask myself, why aren‘t they doing it?

Ca-Long. that's a dragon (=long) logo. Chinese, many other countries and even american companies won't design, but they're good at copying and sometimes improving the product. That's good for golfers, as the big brands have been banking the big bucks forever selling uncontested their overpriced products famed via big publicity-prestige to not even double, but to multiply the real cost of manufacturing. I mean, Srixon and a couple of others golf ball brands are as good or better than Titleist, but people also fall for the trick of the more expensive the better. Do not pay attention to what I say, Tiger destroyed Titleist using a Nike ball, and the ball is still there, just under another name brand that nobody buys because it's not famous. I like Titleist don't get me wrong, but is not the only good option out there, albeit the more expensive no doubts. It costs two-bits (25 cents) to make a golf club shaft, but just put a brand to it, 250 dollars right there, easy. Oh well
Am definitely thinking of buying the 800 irons.

Chinese knock offs. While I can't debate the pricing, what are the shafts? No name? How are the tolerances of the clubs? Not so good I'd imagine. A sim golfer is currently using a knock off set of P790's related to these guys and doing well with them, but there's a reason they're cheap and its a lot to do with quality control, assembly and materials.
I dont see any Calong clubs in the USGA equipmtment database, so these are all non conforming for tournament play correct? I suppose its nice seeing reviews for equipment that does not go through the testing process, but I would definitely lead a review of any of those with that information. There are alot of hot clubs you can buy that are non conforming, and some people enjoy playing with those types of clubs. Nothing wrong with that, but as a reviewer calling out that they are non conforming would be important IMHO. its not just about the cost. Having said that, i love the logo on there, i thing its sexy AF, and if these were conforming I would buy a set for sure!

Great review James&bobby 😊 Your on about sports cars Porsche etc the calongs are like the new kids on the block like Ariel with the atom 😄 I have the calong 201 CBs as a extra set &they are just as good as anything out there for feel& performance&have a premium look with them looking like a set of muira irons 😄. As I have read on here by others leaving feedback,it is only a matter of time before the Chinese flood the market having to prove nothing but the fact they can make them cheaper&just as good&ship them all in the low prices 😁
