Wow imagine using "really old" clubs from 2015…
When I heard really old, I assumed at least 90's
Golf clubs don't last very long for pro players. They smash faces and bend grooves. Maybe they not only got a club they could use but they also got 30 more of the exact same model from their sponsor so they could have one or two new ones for every season.
I still use Titleist 975f fairway wood. It was good enough for Tiger 25 years ago to win 4 majors in a row, so it's good enough for me now to hit my ball to water hazard at my local club.
My first set of clubs was a set of dunlop blades for £27 in 1993 lol
Joist Luiten uses the 2017 Titleist CB 716 irons.
He’s gone on record stating he’s tried similar irons, but doesn’t have the same feel with those clubsheads.
So, he’s gotten 4-5 sets and reshafted them, to get them specked how he likes them.
