The Pocket Fire near Sedona has burned approximately 26,803 acres and is now 51% contained, with firefighting efforts actively continuing across multiple fronts.
Current Status
The wildfire, first reported on June 19, 2026, is located about 7 miles north of Sedona in the Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness area of the Coconino National Forest. The fire has burned through timber and brush, with rugged terrain limiting direct attack in some areas. As of the latest reports, the fire covers 26,803 acres and is 51% contained, with more than 1,200 personnel assigned to firefighting operations
