You're Building Your Bag For The Wrong Golfer

You’re Building Your Bag For The Wrong Golfer

Most golfers carry the same 14 clubs their whole life — and wonder why their scores don’t change.

In this video, I’m breaking down the three clubs that are manufacturing blow-up holes for higher handicappers: the 3-wood, the long iron, and the lob wedge. Not because these clubs are bad — but because the way most 15-to-25 handicappers use them creates predictable, avoidable disasters.

You’ll learn the strategic replacements for each one, a 3-step framework for auditing your own bag, and how to build a bag that’s designed around the golfer you actually are — not the golfer you wish you were.

If you want to lower your scores without changing your swing — subscribe to the Savvy Caddie.

Everything on this channel is designed as general strategy education to help you think better on the course. It is not individual coaching or instruction tailored to your personal game. What works for one golfer may not be right for another, so apply ideas carefully and seek qualified help where needed.

  1. Yeah totally ditched the 3 wood 3 yrs ago. Most difficult club to hit. My 3 hybrid is so easy to hit and love my hybrids. Replaced my 5 iron with a 5 hybrid same time frame 3 years ago. My 5 hybrid is one of my fav clubs in my bag. Love all my wedges
