It looks so easy. But my bulky morbidly obese body is not willing to co-operate 😊😊 At the swift stage my club is already in a position to hit over the top. When I am not hitting over the top my distance suffers 😊😊

I've been focusing on keeping that trail arm closer to my body and been striking the ball more pure and way further.
That specific movement demonstrated at the 3:10 mark is exceptional. It provides the clarity I was missing from the first "paint brush" video I saw of yours. Doc also recommended a similar technical adjustment. I struggled to capture the correct "feel" until seeing this demonstration. That drill really solidifies the concept.

I've been looking for a drill or instruction on the drop and especially keeping the trailing arm tucked in. Great instruction. Can't wait to hit the driving range.
Once I figured reconnecting my rear arm I gained a solid 20-30 yards with my irons while feeling like I was swinging easier than before

Hey I just had a question about the shoulder moving straight down. Do you feel your elbow connecting to your ribcage during the connect part of the downswing? Or would that technically be getting stuck? Great video btw!

Good stuff, Craig. But way too complicated to implement for the average amateur who plays just from time to time and only practices occasionally.
What I see here, before anything, is the lowering of the right upper arm and while it stays close to the ribcage. It could be compared to standing up straight, raising your right hand to about head height, and then elbowing with your right elbow as if somebody came up behind you.
