Kai Trump gave her followers a glimpse of her mother, Vanessa Trump, in rare new family photos shared weeks after the former model underwent surgery following her breast cancer diagnosis, Wonderwall.com can report.
President Donald Trump’s 19-year-old granddaughter took to Instagram to share a carousel of images taken at Vanessa’s mother’s recent 80th birthday celebration in New York, which also included photos of the 48-year-old ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.

Kai was joined by brothers Donald “Donnie” Trump III, 17, and Tristan Trump, 14, for the small soiree at their grandmother Bonnie Haydon’s New York City apartment. (Vanessa also shares children Spencer Trump and Chloe Trump with Don Jr., whom she divorced in 2018 after 12 years of marriage.)
The siblings sat with their mom and grandma for a three-generation photo, which Kai — who will enter her freshman year at the University of Miami in the fall — posted on June 29.
Kai also included shots of herself wearing a sleeveless blue satin top paired with a white miniskirt as she gazed out at the city’s skyscrapers from her grandmother’s balcony.
But it was Kai’s photo with her mother that drew the most supportive comments from followers, some of whom remarked on how “beautiful” Vanessa looked.

Vanessa had largely remained out of the public eye since announcing her diagnosis on May 20 — just three days after she and her ex-husband hosted festivities marking Kai’s high school graduation.
She wore a white cardigan with gold buttons and a pleated white skirt for the family birthday gathering, drawing supportive comments from followers.
Fans celebrated Kai’s mom’s strength amid her cancer journey in the comments, with one person writing, “Your mom is so beautiful! Good luck to her with her treatment.”
A second person wrote, “Happy Birthday to your Grandma… Prayers for your mom. I hope she’s doing well!”
Added a third, “So good to see you always honor your mom.”
Vanessa starting ‘second stage’ of cancer treatment

Vanessa made headlines when she revealed she had breast cancer.
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan. I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me,” the mother of five — who’s in a long-term relationship with golfer Tiger Woods — wrote on Instagram as she announced her diagnosis. She also asked for privacy “as I focus on my health and recovery.”
Vanessa gave fans another update on June 13. “Over the past four weeks, I’ve been recovering from surgery, and I’m grateful to be healing and moving forward. Soon, I’ll be starting the second stage of my treatment,” the Manhattan native revealed.
Vanessa also sent out “love, strength and hope to everyone fighting this battle.”

Kai has made it clear how close she is to her mom in multiple videos she’s shared on her YouTube channel.
“I bought my mom flowers because no one deserves them more than my mom,” Kai gushed to her 1.5 million subscribers in a May 9 clip. “I got these all for my mom because without her, I mean, yeah, I probably graduated high school, but like, without her support and everything … and pushing me to be better and get good grades, it wouldn’t be possible,” she added. “So, love you, mom. Got you some flowers.”
Kai also paid tribute to Vanessa in a Mother’s Day post, calling her “the best Mom I could ever ask for. I’m so thankful and lucky to have you in my life,” Kai added. “Thank you for always supporting me and loving your 5 kids. You are such an amazing Mom and we are all so lucky to have you. I appreciate you more than anything.”
