Jean Clayton (left) is Poverty Bay Golf Club's Oman Cup women's handicap matchplay champion after a comeback victory over Megan Allan (right) in the final on Wednesday. Clayton, off a 28 handicap and getting 16 shots, was 3-down after nine holes, but won the next six holes to forge a 3-up lead. She halved the 16th to complete a 3 and 2 win. The Oman Cup was presented by Cora Oman in 1929 after having a hole-in-one. L.
