Tiger Woods is back in South Florida after completing a stay at a rehabilitation center in Switzerland following his arrest on suspicion of DUI on March 27, according to multiple reports.
People.com reported Woods was photographed in Florida on Friday, June 12. The site reported that Woods, wearing a long-sleeve black workout shirt, white shorts, a black cap and sneakers and carrying what looked like a backpack, smiled for cameras.

Woods had his third recorded accident and his second DUI arrest since 2009 in March in his hometown of Jupiter Island, on the Palm Beach and Martin County border. He announced March 31 that he would step away from golf for an undetermined period of time, calling it “necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.”

Woods, 50, pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge in Martin County court following the rollover crash.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” Woods wrote on social media March 31. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.\

Tiger Woods returned from Switzerland to support Vanessa Trump

Sources told People.com that Woods spent six weeks in Switzerland from April to early May and came back to the U.S. to support his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, who was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Vanessa is the ex-wife of President Donald Trump’s son Don Jr. and the mother of Kai Trump, a social media influencer who’ll attend the University of Miami.

The wreck was the second time since 2021 that Woods has been in a crash in which his vehicle rolled over and the second time since 2017 he has been arrested on DUI charges.
Woods had difficulty following directions while taking sobriety tests and was carrying two pills revealed to be hydrocodone following his crash, according to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
The 15-time major championship winner said he had looked down at his cellphone and was changing radio stations as he drove his black Land Rover along South Beach Road when he struck a trailer attached to the Ford F-150 he was passing.

The impact caused Woods to lose control of the Land Rover, which flipped onto its driver’s side.

Multiple sites reported that the State Attorney’s office in Martin County filed a notice of its intent to subpoena Woods’ medical history from the Cleveland Clinic Martin South. They are seeking “any and all reports documenting statements of the patient regarding alcohol or chemical substances use” and “any and all drug screen results.”
