AUGUSTA, GA (KELO) — The Masters is set to kick off this week with many golfers set to make their debut. A familiar face in Rory McIlroy is gearing up to defend his 2025 Masters victory, where he also completed a career grand slam.
The Northern Ireland native is looking to soak in these last moments as the latest victor ahead of the competition.

“I’ve really tried to embrace and enjoy every part of it,” McIlroy said. “I’ve got one more thing to try and embrace and enjoy tonight at the champion’s dinner and then I’ll be able to turn my full attention to getting ready for the golf tournament.”
The Masters runs from Thursday until Sunday where the 2026 champion will be crowned.
