This game needed a palmer or foden to unlock the defence. I like everything else tuchel have done but he could have left qwansa or however ye spell his name and henderson for a palmer. Once again football fans are so reactionary. Argentina struggled in the whole group stage in 2022. Every team who wins the World Cup has a poor game. Spain and Portugal already have. England won't face another team who plays that defensive and physical in the knock out rounds, apart from maybe the R32.

It’s pretty simple, this is the same old England that we’ve seen for many years. Boring, slow, no creativity or expressive moves during the game.
The ref was one of our best players this game with the penalty decision and not punishing Pickford.
Luckily, England will get past the group but as soon as we play anyone decent it’ll be the same result and England will be sent home. Wouldn’t even be surprised if we drew or only beat Panama 1-0

Your wingers at international football level are not going to win you a game of football unless they provide the perfect cross. Ghana were double and triple teaming the wide players because they knew that was England's only threat. At one point during the 1st half Ghana's low block had split in half and the middle was so open you could have driven 2 buses through it. They were choking up the wide areas and England's players are so daft they can't calculate if I have 3 men in front of me and I am 1…2…carry the 3…subtract 5 oh yeh 1 fvcking player then there is space somewhere else on the field. The times England looked dangerous happened so rarely when someone drove at Ghana in the half spaces and through the middle. The person best equip to do that is Rogers, yet he was brought on so late. Bellingham looks great when he's running in space and the field is nice and open for him like Croatia – who are utterly shite by the way. Against a low block we see all the time for Real Madrid he is useless as a 10. Play him upfront in place of Kane or bench him.
It is time we just admit England has brainless and cowardly players who can’t think or perform under pressure. They know how to run and play instinctively but the players lack the football IQ of nations like France or Netherlands to think on the field and resolve tactical problems on their own. How is Gordon even in the squad. He is just a pair of lungs. He is incredibly limited as a player and extremely predictable and Barcelona are looking for their receipt on him.
