Cowboys cornerback Shavon Revel told Nick Harris that he finally felt back to himself at OTAs this year. Revel said, “I did not feel like myself. I just had that heart and grit to go out there. If I can still run, I’m going to go play. It’s all about what you can put in for the team.” Revel added, “I am going to be, someday, the best cornerback in the league. That’s just how I look at it, and I have the confidence to say it. Expectations ARE GOING TO get out of control for Downs because that's just the nature of some parts of this fanbase. If we're not sitting at 9-0 at midseason with Downs having an All-Pro/DROY season, about 1/3 of these fans are going to be calling him a bust. Nature of the beast for this fanbase unfortunately.
